This policy explains what information Stellar Property Services LLC, a Colorado company ("we", "us"), collects through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you request a quote, you tell us your name, email address, property address and what you need done. You may also give us your mobile number and a photo of the problem. When we work with you, we also record the job details, your quote, the scheduled arrival window and the status of your payments.
Information from lead services
If you contact us through Thumbtack, Angi, Nextdoor, Facebook or Instagram lead forms, or a Google Local Services ad, that service shares your contact details and request with us. Their own privacy policies cover what you give them. Calls to our Google Local Services number are connected to our phone; we keep the caller's number and the time of the call so we can follow up. Calls are not recorded.
Payments
Card and bank payments are entered on the secure checkout pages of our payment processors, Stripe or Square. We receive the amount, the payment method and whether the payment went through. We never receive or store full card or bank account numbers. If you pay by Zelle or Venmo, we keep the reference you report so we can match it to your job.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records each visit to the site: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use these records for security and troubleshooting and keep them for about 30 days. Our request form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam; Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser information for that check.
We set one cookie, only when our staff sign in, to keep them signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare your quote and schedule the work.
- To send the text messages described in our Text Message Terms, if you gave us your mobile number.
- To take payment and keep business, tax and accounting records.
- To protect our website and customers from spam, fraud and abuse.
Text messages
We text only customers who give us a mobile number for their request, and only about that request. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run our business, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Google Cloud, which hosts our website and stores our records.
- Twilio, which delivers our text messages and connects phone calls.
- Stripe and Square, which process payments.
- Cloudflare, which runs the spam check on our request form.
- Google Workspace, if we use it to keep our job calendar.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep information
We keep customer and job records while we work with you, and afterwards for To be confirmed: retention period for tax and accounting purposes. Backup copies are kept for up to 30 days. Photos that are deleted or replaced are removed from our storage after 90 days.
Your choices
- Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing To be confirmed: business email. We respond within 30 days. We may keep records that we are required to keep by law, such as payment records.
How we protect information
Our website uses encrypted connections. Our database is not reachable from the public internet, and only our own staff accounts can see customer details; crew members see only the jobs assigned to them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
